Today is the start of our holiday with a lot of air travel to look forward to.
We commence our day by travelling from Brisbane to Sydney at 9 am to connect to our Virgin Atlantic flight to London via Heathrow leaving at 2.30 pm.
The flight through to London was uneventful, with both of us managing to get some sleep on the way and we arrived at Heathrow at about 5.10 am Monday, about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. We had a short stopover in Hong Kong at the new airport at Chep Lap Kok which is certainly a lot more impressive than the old one. The old airport at Kai Tak was amazing though as you could look into residents windows in their apartments as you came into land.
The service on Virgin Atlantic was very good, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this airline to anyone.
