Brighton: Is that a Beach? lolsBrighton: Is that a Beach? lolsBrighton: Is that a Beach? lols

Brighton beach larf. Actually quite nice =P
Hey hey,

So I have not been a good blogman of late have I? Its not my fault I swear!! Internet in Britland and Norland is apparently hard to find and v expensive sooooooo whatever. To the ends of keeping things real and fresh though I have combined the rest of our english adventures into this single super special king prawn chilli chicken ramen gang panang kebab pasta risotto steak sandwich meal deal.

First up after Londeron we headed south to Brighton. Londond sucks. Brighton was really nice and simply walking down the street was like bathing in some camomile tea while drinking some of the tea while you bathe in it. This is accounting for the 20 kilo odd that I had strapped to my back and the compressive spin as a result. But it was a relaxed compression if you follow. A brief walk down the hill led us to possibly the nicest backpackers ive ever stayed at, Kipps Brighton. It was quite small and had a very much ´welcome to the family´thing happening which was very cool. The first night we had there was the free pancakes and mario kart on the wii night. I think
Brighton: its PierBrighton: its PierBrighton: its Pier

Kinda of fun for me. Ive only seen mini amusement parks on a pier in movies before. Was buslting when we went down there =)
you know that these are two good things that are made even better by being supplied together =) We went for a bit of an explore around town and headed down to the water front. I got my first glimpse of a pier mini amusement park which was good for me then walked along the ´beach´before finding a book and heading home for beer wii pancakes!!!!! We ended up pancaking and xmen 3íng which is still sick lols.

The next day we day tripped to the east to visit Dover and its famed white cliffs. The cliffs a slightly baige now due to the ferries and cargo ships porting nearby but they are still cool. Hiked up those, was windy, long day blah blah blah, home late, then went to bed with our licoricsh all sorts psudo family that we had. The next day we headed to Portsmouth to endjoy some quality looking at ships. The HMS vistory (lord Nelsons flag ship from some time, i wrote it in the photos so look at them). Portsmouth is not very nice so i wont say much about it, we day tripped out to Hythe, where Graigs dad grew up before
Brighton: Fair Shot larfBrighton: Fair Shot larfBrighton: Fair Shot larf

On the pier, cool clouds as if you didnt know.
importing himself to Canada at some time, so we garbbed a photo for him outside his old house. Other than that we had 2 massive sleeps. If you think this is not worth noting then you are right...... On the way back from Hythe we visited Winchester and the round table, which was so disapointing that it was confusing. Just a round replica on a wall. And the whole theory of the all equal thing is dumb cause there is a massive ´im the king´sector at the obvious head of the tablket. Next day off to salisbury aka stonehenge!

Salisbury is a gorgeous town. The fields nearby are really nice and our hostel was really nice too. It was i think an old manor house that had a long winding driveway up to it with gorgeous gardens. It kind of put me in the mind of building they converted into a place where they look after mentaly handicapped people, and they can walk around nice gardens and wot not. We had a few beers but that but english young men are just tools who have some weird over aggressive thing where they want to fight everyone so it wasnt

Ooohohoh. B&W photo to help show the starkness of the burnt out old pier....larf
that fun. Following on from the mental ward idea of our hostel, and the now dark garden path leading up to it, i decided it was in everyones best interests for me to hide in the garden and jump out and scare the living daylights out of a group of people following us home. As it turns out it was a group of girls staying at our hostel who were in fear of receiving a terrific mauling from some generic dodgy as hell english lads that were following them home. We scared them off and so with our chivalry taken care of for the day we hit the haaaay. Stonehenge the next day. Was very very cool, and i dont think ill give you a history lesson on it because i cant remember and would have to cut and paste from wikipedia so you can just do that yourselves =P Also visited old Saruum, a hill fort town that is now ruins but cool as well.

The next day we headed to our leaving location at Gatwick airpport and stayed at a no frills hotel that was actually cheaper than backpackers yarhoo. So we did that, then flew out

to Norway. I feel inclined to note at this point that mum, i was going to call you for mothers day when we arrived in Norway but apparently telstra has no sway with companies in Norway so i had no reception anywhere in the country. I think telstra even charged me for the privalige of not having reception. I sure do love telstra, mmm, my favourite.

So thats the end of Great Britain for me.

much love as always,

Neckless

Another peach of a blog...just a quick question, have you still got all the belongings you set off with??? If so a big pat on the back to you! Say hi to Graig for us and make sure you are eating things other than pancakes and beer (meal in every glass but not all you need). You are both invited to Flynn's 3rd birthday party on THursday- bubbles and splashes theme so bring your swimmers! Have fun eating Herring and other related items in Norway (esp the fermented ones!)
