On the Way

Left home by taxi on a dank, dark wet November afternoon - the sort of day that made me want to take this trip away from winter. No traffic, so made Heathrow Terminal 3 massively early - feeling as ever at the start of these trips - 'Why am I doing this?'. Hung around in the lounge and eventually found that the flight was closing but they forgot to tell us!

Uneventful flight, although the best night's sleep I've ever had on a long-haul flight. Nothing special to see once we got over the North Sea, so watch Mr Bean's Holiday, which was strangely appropriate for my mood.
