Off to Warwick Castle today, best preserved castle (but a little too much like a theme park now) in England. Very expensive but we spent about 4 hours there, walking again nonstop and the bonus of 550 steps!

Did the dungeon tour as an add on, I was caught out a couple of times and screamed nice and loudly!!!!! Cooper was hauled in to court and in to the dock, found guilty for being Australian!!!!!

Kasey ran every where, her favourite part was learning about how they used "bum waste" their term not mine, to defend the castle, throwing it at anyone trying to get in.

Cooper liked the dungeons. greg like walking the wallls, I just loved the history. You may notice our clothes are starting to look the same day after day - yes I 'm prepearing us all for the months ahead, even though we have a home to go to at the moment.

Have loaded my first book on the ipad - recommend it to all my fellow book clubbers as a great view of england today - Capital by john Lanchester. Not sure what I'll read next, very tempting to buy the weekly

We had to promise we weren't Yorkists to gain entry to the castle
2.99 pound new release by newspapers but am restraining my slef, can't get through the daily papers - especially on the weekend - I would seriously move here just to have these papers every weekend. Haven't even touched a magazine - sooooo many of them

After Warwick we headed to Oxford, another 10 pound travelodge room!!!! Good but not as good as the first room, though better located, near free wifi and a Waitrose.

Drove in to the centre of Oxford and coudn't get out even with the Tom Tom, spent about 20 mins going round and round so saw lots.
