Our last few hours in Paris and Europe and look what has happened to the weather after the last few days of overcast skies and occasional drizzly rain........yes the sun was out and shining brightly! We have an earlier start this morning as the train to London leaves at 9.13am and we need to give ourselves an hour for check in just in case we need to go through a detailed interview as to what we are going to be up to while we are in the UK,like happened 4 years ago. Sylvie has organised an early breakfast for us and has her husband ready with the Mercedes to take us to the Gare du Nord which is a big relief for us and we won't have to change trains if we took the subway. This weekend mummy and daddy took me on my first ever camping trip. It was brilliant fun! We went to a campsite on the beach at Kessingland near Lowestoft. When we first arrived I was so excited we were on a big field with a few other tents, and I loved watching the older kids playing and I tried to get to a dog nearby but mummy wouldn't let me :-( I helped daddy put the tent up, giving him lots of heavy poles and my pillow, then we had a picnic. After lunch, we had a walk on the beach then went to the park where daddy took me on the slide and pushed me in the swing. As part of my Peru training I have decided to do a bit of beach walking along the Suffolk coast.... Today I am walking from Lowestoft to Southwold... Initially I thought this would just be a good way to train however after seeing the amazing beauty of this area I can now say that I have fallen in love with this stretch of the UK. At around 4pm myself and Dee (my travel partner) set off from work to take on the 12 mile trek to Southwold.
