It was again great to be part of a congregation that filled the Church. The service followed the traditional midnight Christmas service and was led by The Venerable Paul Thomas, Archdeacon of Shrewsbury, whose sermon was based on 'The Tale of Three Trees' which is a favourite children's picture book by Angela Elwell Hunt / David C. Cook. The powerful message that God has a special plan for our lives permeates through the story of three trees that have dreams of what they want to be when they grow up. IF WE KEEP CHRIST IN OUR HEART CHRISTMAS HAS NO END This will be our last Blog entry for 2014 as the Albrighton library will be closed between the 24 December and 2nd January inclusive. Although we now have an Internet connection at the flat, we have an O2 WiFi Dongle, the connection in Albrighton is 4G but switches between 3G and 2G and ours seems to stays mainly on 2G ??????? The past three weeks have allowed us to settle into village life and turn our flat into a home. We have continued to re connect with the people of Boningale and Albrighton and have attended the Wednesday 9.30am Holy Communion/Bible Study services at St Marys as well as the Tuesday Tea Cosies sessions at St Marys hall. Firstly our apologies that it has taken almost 4 weeks to set up this new Blog page. We have been very very busy, as you will see from this Blog. Now we are up and running we will get back into regular updates. It was Monday 3rd November when June & Tony drove us from Traralgon to Tullamarine airport Melbourne. As usual we arrived in plenty of time, 4 hours before check in opened, and it was very difficult saying goodbye to June and Tony who have been so good to us over our journey and we thank God every day for their love, friendship and guidance.
