Weather a bit better today and much improved by late afternoon. We headed off down to the station for the 10.40 steam train, on the North Norfolk line, to Holt. We had pre-booked online which made life easier as like everyone else we just flashed our phone at the ticket man. Found ourselves on the 10 o’clock train which was running a little late. A lovely little trip through the flat Norfolk countryside with views to the sea most of the way and just 25 minutes to Holt. We got off at Holt but had decided not to walk to the town as we knew it was quite a way so we had opted instead to return rightaway to Sheringham and come back to Holt later by car. Just back from a great weekend in the 'big sky' country of England; Norfolk. Scott, Adam, Myles and I headed off out of London early Saturday morning arriving at Kings Lynn around 9.30. We were soon heading towards the start of our walk, which was a section of the famous Peddlers Way / Norfolk Coast Path. Our kick off point was a standard British seaside town called Hunstanton. We jetted out of there pretty quickly. The first part of the walk was along and behind the sand dunes and past a bird sanctury. To our amusement there were a number of bird watchers around.
