Our first experience of Murvi

Short Night

The clocks went forward tonight so not too much sleep. Not sure if either of the pillows he had bought yesterday was quite right. It's a bit like Goldilocks. The memory foam was a little small (but it would save space), the other one was too big (though it would probably compress with age). We are having a pillow review when we get home!

We walked up the old railway line into the centre of Ledbury for a guided walk with the retiring chairman of the Civic Society. Found out a lot I didn't know but it was so COLD. As soon as he finished we rushed back to the Plume of Feathers for Sunday Lunch, only to find a couple of us who were half way through theirs as they had not completed the tour. You know who you are.

Overall, it was a good weekend away. As one of us is still working, we could only sensibly have made it if it was reasonably close (and we couldn't have had it much closer).

It was a reasonable walk into Ledbury, which was a suitable size (big enough to be interesting, but small enough to

explore). The facilities at the club were good enough when available.

Good access from the M50 would have helped those in a hurry, but there would have been interesting places on cross country journies for others.

The chilly walk
Enjoyed reading your blog and the photos.reminded us of a great walk(if rather cold!). Well done - and so quick off the mark! It was lovely to see you at the AGM - and we hope all your problems get sorted very soon so that you can continue your Murvi travels.
