September 4 – London - Tuesday I caught the tube from Hammersmith Station to the Lambert North tube stop and walked over to the Imperial War Museum. It was a very large museum and I spent several hours touring it. Then I had some unremarkable chicken, rice, and curry at a restaurant and caught the tube at the Elephant and Castle tube stop to the Tower Bridge tube stop and had a look around.

This is the actual tank used by Montgomery in North Africa for foward observation. The gun is a wooden dummy as the actual gun was removed to make room for communication gear.

These rained down on London while my Mother was there serving as a nurse in WW 2.
