tower bridge, awesome sight
Waking up super early I say goodbye to my aunt, snap a few photos with her and head off back to Gatwick to meet up with my travel buddy, Mark B. We headed to the National History Museum (free), checked that out, although I don't recommend it, the nicest thing about it is probably the architecture and that's about it. Probably best for little curious kids. After that we just went all out. We saw Tower Bridge, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, London Bridge, and some other sh*t I don't remember lol. We had a pretty decent lunch at a pub near tower bridge for 5 pounds. In general we refrained from eating out or even eating in general as prices in england are just atrocious, can't beat the backpacker's diet! So after a pretty full day of sightseeing, we headed to Hendon Central by underground, taking around 40 minutes, and checked into our hostel, London Backpackers. The guy at the desk wasn't exactly the friendliest nor the most helpful, but hey, for the price we paid, you can't expect much. The beds were squeaky and not exactly comfy, but I slept pretty well.
