Well, we caught our first London train by ourselves this morning to get out to Harpenden to collect the motor home, arriving at 11.30 we suddenly realised that we were 3 hours early for the pickup so we wandered the streets of that quaint little town and drank great coffee at the Slug and Lettuce cafe, I kid you not. Picking up the van at 2.30 and leaving at 4 to do some grocery shopping it was getting a little late so we decided to stop at the closest camp ground to where we were. Well I checked the book and found one in Hertford which I thought was just down the road, well setting the address into the Tomtom we set off down this little goat track only just wide enough to fit the van hoping like hell no one was coming the other way. It turned out that the camp ground I chose was about 40 miles in the opposite direction and we didn't get there till well after dark.
