The adventures of Europe have begun....they literally start the minute you get off the plane!!! Heathrow has got to be the busiest airport; people pushing, climactic reunions and the odd lost backpakers (Morgan and Kailey). Although we had been there before the experience is different every time, this time being a little more positive than the last! We survived our 24 hour flight with minimal emotional and physical damage. Riding the tube is a multicultural experience, which makes London so unique! Like every Londoner we hopped on the tube headed for Queen's Park. Even though we were twice as wide people still managed to push us around. We quickly learned that it's not bad manners it's just Underground survival. It's bizarre to me that so many people can be in one small place at one time ... read more

5am. Queens Park Flat: 24hrs since we've slept. We're in a frantic rush to get everything done, but moving slowly from the exhaustion that has set in...why do we always wait until the last minute? The last boxes to go into storage are packed. Rich's bags are packed, stuffed to the max! Alicia is still trying to find space in her backpack, its full and half the stuff she wants to bring is still on the floor. 5:30am All the boxes are in the rental van. Rich is yelling at Alicia to hurry up and finish packing her bag. They should've left the flat 30 min. ago! 6am Alicia finishes packing, leaving half the stuff she planned on taking in a storage box.
