Yes, half of everything.

Another good day although the track was very rocky and rough. These conditions mean you have to be careful with every step as it’s so easy to roll an ankle. As such it’s surprising how much more effort goes into such a day. The distance and elevation were commensurate with previous days but the extra degree of concentration means today was considerably more tiring than previous days.
The landscape is changing here, the colours are lighter and less intense and although we’ve seen plenty of gorse and heather here it’s not as intense. It’s still delightful but…

We are entering Poldark territory here and the landscape is bleaker, harder and harder than we have become accustomed to. The chimneys and wheal remains remind us of bygone times. The Welsh influence is strong here, much of the Cornish language has much in common with Welsh.

Although it’s half time, I’ve doubled the number of photos. I’ve used Julie’s. Look and you will find them.

See you later.
