Oh my god, Micheal Franti is awesome!!! We went to see him in bristol, which was rather weird to say the least (since i always see him in Byron). I don't think i stood still all night!!! Jule's mate Glyn came with us and he had never seen him before - now a convert!!! At the end of the night, Micheal got down into the crowd and was signing autographs, and meeting the people. So in true Kate form i went down -followed by Glyn so he could get the photo - and spoke to the man!!! Yippeee, he is truely an awesome guy, i told him so of course!!! Today is the day..... We are nearly packed and ready to leave. Starting to get excited and hoping that the queues at Heathrow won't be too bad!!! Next time we write we will hopefully be in Singapore, enjoying a Gin Sling, at least Ginnie will, I'll probably just go for a beer! Thanks for all the lovely goodbyes. See you all soon. Lots of love. Oh how i long to be back in South America! I think I might cry!!! Oh well, it has been decided (by god Knows who??) that I will definently return!!! even by christmas I hope. The South American/Argentinian charm has definently grabbed me by both ears!!! Oh how I long to be an endless traveller, but money unfortunately has a huge part to play in that. But you never know, Kate could end up being a lovely South American Tour guide for you all to come and visit! I have met some fabulous people whilst i have been here (Jane, it is your fault I am considering becoming a tour leader!!) and am already missing them. Day 85: Week 13: Sunday 30th. July 2006: Sunny: Leaving Dublin early in the morning we caught a bus to Rosslare for the ferry to Fishguard which would arrive sometime in the afternoon in Wales with no connecting train until 2am the next morning; so we would literally be stuck at Fishguard as there are no buses or other trains or transport to Bristol . The agent who sold us the tickets said there were trains to meet every ferry - not so. Vera said we should ask someone for a lift - easier said than done until we were on the ferry and some poor woman near us was being hassled by this guy when I heard her mention Bristol.
