The morning dawned sunny and we had another stroll around the delightful Gamla Uppsalla before driving 300k north in increasingly wet and cold weather to Sundsvall, a city that was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in 1888 on a square pattern with wide open esplanades to act as fire breaks. We had a quick look round before driving up to a view point above the city.
The night’s stop is at Harnosnad on the supposedly beautiful Hoga Kusten (High Coast) and we hope the weather improves tomorrow to enable us to look at it.
