Geo: 39.8568, -4.02448I had a very crappy sleep. Despite the lower-than-normal temperatures for Toledo, it was still hot in the room and I tossed and turned all night long. mmm ... soup with embezzled egg to start and tart with scum for dessert ... it's surprising that this place was so empty! Embezzle ... a funny word that Mary will use in a funny way in an upcoming blog ...

The partridge. Crap.

Roasted pork. Crisp skin, juicy meat ... the only things lacking were a bit of salt and some veggies. Don't laugh - those two slices of grilled veggies are quite substantial servings of veggies in Spain. Vegetarians are pretty much screwed here.

The scum tart. Surprisingly good, considering the presence of scum.

"Te quiero" means "I love you" in Spanish. I find such random sentimental and romantic displays funny ... kinda like a weird, bald Chinese guest blabbering nonsense at the Hotel Sol reception last summer ...

We've managed to survive two days together. Can we get through almost 30 more?
