Around a shrine on the way out of Astorga
It was tough to leave a beautiful place like Astorga! It truly is one of my favourite cities so far. The walk was long, as usual today, but beautiful. It's amazing that even after nearly a month of walking every single day, you wake up wanting to walk. It has become such a routine, such a rhythm.

Rabanal Del Camino is a lovely little town with a Hostel run by volunteers on a "donavito" basis ("pay what you can"). It is in a very quaint old building with dorm-style rooms and a lovely courtyard and yard to hang out in. The hostellers Steve an afternoon "tea" at 4 pm and encourage guests to share something about themselves or their experiences on the Camino.
