We started our Skydiving adventure on Weston on the green north of Oxford in August, but the weather did not permit us to finish our sky diving course. So we spent three days in Lillo outside Madrid and on the first day we completed our consoles and we both become Licensed Solo Parachute Jumpers.  In total we had 13 jumps and just LOVING IT!! Skydiving is indescribable and just must be tried!! The learning curve is very steep, but once you crack it, man only the sky is the limit… or should we say the ground!  We went to Lillo which is a tiny town outside Madrid, but the Drop Zone is great! Lots of lifts and lots of packers means lots of jumps! Check out their website and the videos: www.skydivelillio.com

If you are looking for a drop zone where you like check out http://www.dropzone.com

Or if you are in UK the British Parachute Organisation might be at help www.bpa.co.uk Or if you are in Norway the sky diving clubs are listed NAK Website

On Friday night we where off to Toledo to meet a friend of Nina that she had not seen since living in the US in 1993/1994 - awesome to catch up! She has now three gorgeous girls and a happy wife… 😊 Toledo is a really special place and should be visited if you have a chance, history under every stone AND great marzipan! 😊

Kraft colleague - VERY jealous!
I'm not sure if you remember me, I was a Kraft colleague for only a short time. But I have been enviously looking at your Travelblog since you sent me your leaving email. I have just read you log about the Lillo skydiving and you have brought back some brilliant memories. My boyfriend and I did our AFF course in Ocana in July and it was absolutely amazing. We did 3 jumps at the Lillo dropzone after we qualified and hope to go back again soon. So amazing! Anyway congrats on qualifying. Ever so envious of you and Nina, can't wait to see what you get up to next!

There is a DZ in Reunion
Ardouin, I do remember you (from the phone at least). Skydiving IS great fun, but too expensive for us to do regularly now that we are not working. That said, we will make an effort to get over to the neighbour island Reunion where they have a dropzone after our licenses arrive in the post!
