Finally left Les Sables at 15.00, after a LOT of loading of the van and tidying up of the flat.
209 km brought us to the Aire at Jonzac, at 18.30. Cost 10€ including 2hrs electricity (which we used for the oven, to do some oven chips!). Rest of the meal was proper Boxing Day fare - leftover turkey with mushrooms, lardons and green beans, heated on the hob in a bechamel sauce.
Decided we'll aim to arrive at each stop in daylight from now on - no fun driving in twilight/darkness!
