First day on the ground. Everybody got a good night of (drug induced?) sleep so we took the Metro to downtown Madrid and walked around for a few hours. Madrid seems like an old but not ancient European city. This was an orientation tour. We'll do the museum/gallery thing later. In the afternoon we went back to the airport and picked up the car so we can get an early start for Ronda in the morning. Jan is staying in Madrid for a few days before heading to Barcelona. Right now we're just resting up for our nightly pub crawl.
