Hola! Senorita, gracias gracias mucho ale dente! ...or something.

We send you greetings, words and love from Madrid. It´s a strange city, especially for tourists. There are no must see landmarks or buildings, instead the city´s a way of life. Everyone seems to be here for the nightlife (we´ve got as close as a litre of delicious Sangria with dinner). We´ve quite enjoyed it here, it´s been surprisingly authentic, no one speaks English and there´s no real tourist traps apart from the very city centre. It´s much cheaper than we expected and even siestas make sense (it´s so exhausting without one.)

We have plenty of photos, but no computer will get along with our usb. Everyone´s very friendly here and apart from breakfast the hostel´s great. Tomorrow we´re off to San Sebastian on our way to Bilbao.

Please subscribe (up the top) so we can put this on private (ie. you have to log in.) and you´ll get a lovely automated message from travelblog.org when we publish a hilarious blog (like this one!)

Much love from Madrid.

Madrid sounds rather appealing, sangria, siesta and all... Spanish is my type of language. Just fund out that 'paintings and sculpture' in Spanish is 'pintura y escultura' and it absolutely cracks me up!... Hope Bilbao treats you well:)
