So first week of classes are over and I think I've chosen Anthro and Fascism and there is no possibility of the drawing because of blah, blah, blah bs. So yeah, although the classes are going to be work, I think I'll enjoy them.
So today NYU took us on an hour ride out to El Escorial. It was a nice little town with a huge monastery. It was the dwelling of Felipe II. We spent 3 hours touring this place. The pictures didn't turn out that great but you can look through them to see what I did.

The long hall...

This picture doesn't show how cool this hall was. Both walls were covered with one scene with battles and a story, but the people were really small, so there was hundreds, and the detail was amazing.

The tomb

This is where all the kings and the wife that had the next ruling child are buried. There are only 3 tombs without a person yet and they are rotting in the next room until the bones are clean enough to put in the coffin.. about 30 years. (So where does the current king get buried when he dies?)
