Today and yesterday have been spent mostly sight seeing. Yesterday my roommate Holly and another girl Stacey and I went to el parque Guell which is a Gaudi park that overlooks the city. The park is huge and we didn't have time to see it all, but we want to go back. There are mosaics everywhere and even the rocks are carved into abstract art. I added pictures of the sunset, the skyline, and parts of the mosaics.

Today after class we went to La Boqueria (there should be accents on most of these words, but I don't know how to add them on this). La Boqueria is an enormous outdoor market in an area of the city called Las Ramblas. It is a very interesting place with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, bread, flowers, etc. There are also some pictures of it here.

We went to see a concert tonight of a band called Iron and Wine - one of my favorites from the states. Unfortunately I'm coming down with some kind of cold - probably because of all the traveling and new germs. Hopefully I can kick it, but I need to learn how to say Tylenol
