Hello from a warm sunny Tenerife. It actually took 18 hours to cruise here from Madeira, longer than we expected. I think it's about a days sailing that is equivalent to a one hour flight. This is our first 'shorts day'. It's 24 degrees with a slight breeze. There are petunias flowering everywhere along with all the lovely trees. We are sailing toCape Verde tonight and will arrive in 3 days time....so will report from there. My phone contract does not allow international calls so if you need to contact us please email... or send comment on this blog. Hope you all got yesterday's e mail. I just couldn't get this website to work. Last night we went to a musical ....world music. It was very lively and extremely energetic. There are some very good dancers on board. Tonight we have the 'Yukebox' five good looking young men playing yukeles. Tomorrow and next couple of days it's back to 'at sea' activities- we will probably have forgotten all we learnt! I went to the Church service this morning with 100 or so others... lovely half hour service. Currently we are sitting get in a cafe in the main square where I am having good liquid chocolate .,,,I do love Spanish hot chocolate. So all is well with us ...hope all is fine with you too.
