Edit Blog Post
Has it really been two years?!?!...Well, we've been dormant for a while, but that doesn't mean we haven't been anywhere, but because we've been to places where we've been before, we haven't blogged about them (mainly Spain and Germany)
However, we've been busy having a baby! Ella came to this world on the 29th of January 2013 and we couldn't be happier: she's healthy and fit and she came with her climbing shoes and diving mask ready to use.
That's one of the big news and the other is that, after more than 10 years living in England, we've moved to Majorca!... we got tired of the long, dark winters, the snow, the traffic jams and being far away from our families... so when Dax got a job offer in Majorca (and even though I was already pregnant) we thought 'why not?' and we have been here for over a year now.
We've blogged from Majorca before (
There are people who have money, and people who are rich,
Pa amb oli) but this time is different, as we plan to explore the island slowly, rather than just walk around Palma or float on a boat... because now we have plenty of time and because Dax's job involves driving motorbikes and
showing tourists around the island (not that Ella or I are going with him on the bikes, though)
We've moved to a small beautiful town called Llucmajor, not far from the sea (nothing's really far from the sea in Majorca, though) and so far we've been busy getting used to living in Spain after so long in my case and, for the first time for Dax (he has already adopted the time-honoured tradition of the siesta)
So this blog is just a semi-travel blog, mainly to let you know what's happening and why we haven't blogged in a while, but there are travels on the horizon...
There are people who have money, and people who are rich,
