The beach at Platja Iljetes
At the breakfast this morning, we met up with some people who were going to Formentera Island for the day. Since we had such a good time there yesterday and there wasn't much else to do on Ibiza, we decided to spend another day on Formentera as well. We caught the ferry over to the island and once on board, we all kind of crashed out on the seats. After 45 minutes, we finally arrived on the island. We all met up at the same moped renting shop that Shea and I had went to yesterday. Not everybody was down with mopeding. Some wanted a little more physical exertion so Carl and a few of the girls decided they were going to rent bicycles instead. The rest of us, Shea, Hillary, Rochelle, Maggie, and myself were not going to over exert ourselves so we got ourselves mopeds. We figured the bikers would be going at a much slower pace so we all agreed to meet up at the beach at Platja Iljetes to hang out, swim, relax, and soak up the sun. Since Shea and I had been here yesterday, I turned out to be the directional leader of the

mopeding crew. Once everybody was used to their mopeds, we took off to the beach. The weather today was sunny and warm. It was our first sunny day since we arrived in the islands. It was going to be a perfect beach day! Once we reached the dirt path that would lead us to Platja Iljetes, we noticed the bicyclers were already riding down the trail. When we caught up with them, we learned that we had apparently taken the long route to the beach. Oh well, it was such a nice and relaxing ride that nobody seemed to care.

We all parked our mopeds at the moped lot amongst the many other mopeds that were there. The warm weather today has brought out a lot of people to the beach. Hopefully, we would be able to differentiate our mopeds from everybody else's. We checked out the beach and took a few photos. Before we hit the beach up we decided to grab a bite at the little beach restaurant. After having an early lunch, Shea, Hillary, Maggie, Rochelle, and myself decided to just lounge at the beach. The others decided to get back on their bicycles and

do more exploring. We grabbed a few lounge chairs and just relaxed with the warm sun beating down on us. This being Europe, we forgot that nudity wasn't as taboo here as it is at home. We had noticed a few of the women tanning topless and were told that the far side of this beach was fully nude. I was already seeing too much butt and breasts so I decided to just stay right where I was. The warm sun enticed a few of us to get into the water. While the others were content with just getting their feet wet, Hillary and I decided to fully immerse ourselves in the cool Meditteranean waters. The water felt so good that we did not want to get out. Hillary brought along a water proof camera and we swam around taking photos. We got really close to one of the yachts that had taken anchor nearby. When they noticed us, they invited us to come up and hang out. I think they were more interested in hanging out with Hillary. However, she declined and we just continued to hang out in the water. After spending about 2 hours just relaxing in

the warm sun, we decided to check out a little more of the island.

We got back on our mopeds and made our way over to Es Pujols. By this point, we decided to give our little moped group a nickname. Since there were 4 girls and myself, they all decided to name ourselves the Biker Chicks Plus One. All the girls wanted to do some shopping so I suggested this place based on our visit here yesterday. Once in town, we parked our mopeds and all split up to get whatever shopping was needed to be done. After shopping, we made our way over to the little beach. There was nothing too spectacular here compared to the beach at Plata Iljetes. We just walked around the promenade and purchased an ice cream. Back on the mopeds, we didn't really have any place else in mind to check out. So we all came to the conclusion that we should just get lost on some of the dirt paths. I really have no idea where exactly we went but we followed some random path that really didn't seam to lead anywhere in particular. I had decided to let someone

else take the reigns of leader and I was just going to be a follower. At one point while riding along the path, I had done something incorrect on my moped and I totally crashed. Everyone was laughing and regretting that nobody was able to get a photo of my crash. So to make everyone happy, I decided to re-enact the scene and we managed to get a photo of myself falling off the moped. With all our attention placed towards the reenactment of my crash, we didn't realize that we were stopped in front of someone's home. We must have been making so much noise. That along with the loud humming sound of our mopeds caused a woman to come out of her home and drive us away. We eventually found our way back to a main road and we rode back to the harbor to return our mopeds. Our return was just in time to catch one of the last ferries of the day back to Ibiza.

Back at our hotel in Ibiza, Shea and I joined a bunch of people from our group were hanging out by the pool. Everybody was enjoying the warm evening air and making plans for the night. We all decided to make our way over to the old town to have a few drinks before our big last night in Ibiza. Shea was starting to feel ill so she decided to stay back at the hotel and just have a very early night. I however was still in the mood to have at least one big night out in Ibiza. We all walked over to one of the many bars. Even Trevor made it out tonight. For most of the trip, him and his wife Lana have pretty much kept to themselves. It was good to see him make an attempt at socializing with everyone. After downing a few beers and sharing some Sangria, the group had decided they were going to make their way over to one of the many mega clubs here in Ibiza. By this time, another long day in the sun had finally taken it's toll on me. I was no longer in the mood for dancing all night long. I walked 4 of the girls over the the bus stop. I wanted to make sure they were okay since they were a bit on the drunken side. I started to make my way back to the hotel when I realized that I had just spent 4 nights in Ibiza without even hitting up one of their famous mega clubs.
