It promised to be another warm day, we made sure that apart from the cameras there was a good supply of water. We walked to the fortefications called, Alcazar. Another landmark from Seville that has to be seen. It is the oldest in use Palace in Europa. Charles V married here with Isobella from Portugal. Built by Moorish craftsmen under Christian Rule in the 13th century. It was incorporated in an ealrlier Moorish fortress. One of the excisting walls dates from 900. The building was done, during the reign of Pedro the Cruel. It takes a day to go through the many Court yards and the magnificent gardens. The tiling in some of the Court yards are amazing. You have to sit down, that is if you find a place, to admire the ceramics that are on display. You hear the Oh and Ah,s of the People walking from one room to the other. The biggest problem is to find places to video or photograph without having strange People disturbing you shot. We looked at the gardens from the top. Not many People were walking there, to hot. It was towards 4 p.m. that we left this magnificent plalace. The first

stop was for an ice tea. We slowly getting addicted to this refreshment. A different way back to the Hotel took us through many tiny streets, just a car wide. Lots of shops selling souvenirs invite you to have a look at their ware. We bought more Post cards and stamps and doing that more things are collected. At the Hotel we were glad to put our feet up, but not for long, a shower and an evening meal were waiting. Restaurants open here at 8.30 at night, that upsets our way of eating a bit. But you get used to it. We went back to the same place for tea and already people know you. We say Good Day and they answer with Buenas Noches, good night. Have to get used to their Hello, they say Hola and we keep thinking we have to stop. Bye for now, we think we have a rest day tomorrow.
