Well, walking around the city today we made a connection to our hometown! It turns out Balboa Park in San Diego is almost a replica of the park we encountered today that was made for a world fair expo. And Balboa Park was made for a world fair expo around the same time. Why they would copy Spain we are thinking maybe having to do with San Diego being discovered by Spanish explorers? Hm.
I am so glad I finally got to experience Spain, it is so different from everywhere else. That is the main thing I love about Europe. All the countries may be packed together but every single one is completely different from the other! Great, great, great! Well I hope you are all having a great summer!
