I had a wonderful weekend! Friday I caught a bus with three other girls to Tarifa (the southern most point of Spain) and got off about 22 km early at a crossroad. We hiked up this highway until we reached Bolonia, a small beach town of about 200 that gets crazy during the summer-full of wind and kite surfers. It was definately one of the windiest places I´ve ever been! The first day it was a bit overcast and cold due to the wind, but we just chilled around some cow patties, enjoying the amazing sky, rocks, shells, etc. Saturday and Sunday were spent hiking up the beach and camping around the nearby pine tree covered dunes (so hard to hike on with packs!!!!), which actually reminded me a ton of Michigan.
