us at plaza españa
enitrely too much happened since my last entry.
mom, dad, holly, sam, and ella all came for semana santa which was really cool. hotel murillo was cool and on the skinniest street ever. the pasos were really cool at first but then you can´t get anywhere you want to go without getting stuck behind one or having it cross your path. we saw more than we wanted to and almost got trampelled by a virgen in plaza salvador. the nazarenos, dudes in kkk outfits, were pretty creepy but interesting to see. we saw everything: cathedral, giralda, alcazar, plaza nueva, plaza espana, museo bellas artes, and even made it to granada to see alhambra which was still amazing. nice to actually get pictures of it this time. food was awesome except for the¨italian¨ in granada that was pretty much tombstone pizzas and stoffer´s pasta. too many memories to even try to recount. creepy guitar guy, too many pasos, worst internet cafe ever, GRANADA!, etc. it was so nice to get to see everyone; i was really lucky that i have a family that would come visit me during the craziest week in sevilla.

ella and i went to malaga friday and

first one of the week we saw on sunday. reminds me of a deatheater from harry potter
it was soo relaxing. our hotel had a patio that could see the ocean and we spent a lot of time on the beach. ella got the biggest plate of pasta in history and i decided not to tempt the fates and left my camera in the hotel instead of trying my luck on the beach again. i don´t want to break it the same way twice.

exam week is solid. tests went well, one left today in like 30 minutes. it´s been fun to be here with ella during a more chilled out week after the insanity of semana santa. she left this morning and i can´t wait to see her in 6 weeks!

it´s crazy that in 6 weeks i´ll be home. i feel like i´ve seen so much but there is so much left to see. maybe after barcelona, morrocco, madrid for frisbee, paris, greece, turkey, berlin, and milan i´ll be ready to come home. what a long strange trip.

shout out to the badgers for reaching the sweet sixteen after losing their best 2 players from last year and setting a new record for season victories before their season is over, 31 and
paso, the first of manypaso, the first of manypaso, the first of many

we leave our hotel to go try and find one but in plaza triunfo we are cut off by this guy
counting. not to mention that this is only the fourth or fifth time that a big ten team won the conference regular season and conference tournament. check the article about bo ryan on espn.com. all those other teams made the final four, knock on wood. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/ncaatourney08/columns/story?id=3310456

well in 13 hours i´ll be in barcelona. next week i´ll try and add some pictures from semana santa and everything. until then...

really weird to see, but kind of interesting. there were even like little kid ones too. its hard to remember that these guys came before the kkk. as a joke we´d call them the kkk and when there were a lot of them it was a rally.

this was the first paso that nearly trampled us. this one was one of the first we saw so it was weird being that close to it.

my favorite part of the alcazar. the gardens are ridiculously huge and awesome to just wander through and hang out in. students get in free so i might be going back there to study or just read or chill out in
