Today was a free day in Warsaw before the tour officially began. Susan and I planned to explore the old town and visit Warsaw Castle. While the tour would later make a stop there, ti would not go inside the castle as we planned to do. Poland holds a lot of history and I wish we had gone sooner. We hope to get there soon.... even with all the issues going on.

A friend of ours is going to Poland this week. She will be visiting Warsaw and Lublin (which we did not visit) principally to do research for a book she is writing. We've encouraged her to also visit Krakow, probably the most beautiful city in Poland.
