Well unfortunately I got dunked in a little puddle of water when I wrestled these kids in Vigeland sculpture park - Frogner Park, Oslo.
Hey all -

Our flight connection brought us to a transit in Frankfurt, Germany, and since it is not a smoking-free airport, it has a non pleasant smell to it. Plus we almost missed our connection flight to Oslo due to double security systems. Anyway.

Michael and Kalle are in Norway for Kalle's good friend's wedding. Ingvild's wedding was beautiful, albeit the unpleasant weather. Tons of food and drink and story telling and dancing!

Norway is far beyond what I have imagined before. Although it is in the middle of summer, the temperature is rather chilly - perhaps because it is raining for the most part during our visit. We took a hike up around the lake where Ingvild's mother lives and quite enjoyed it. Subsequent bus ride to Bergen marked the beginning of our travel time, roughly two days in each town that we're stopping in.

We figured out the weather pattern during our adventure in Norway. It is always bright and georgeous for the first day, then the cloud comes in and start the rain until we hop to the next city, with a beautiful weather. And the cycle goes along. So thankfully we brought some warmer clothes, and try our best to keep dry.

We even found a bakery which offers Kalle's need of gluten-free food. Good for Kalle, since she's enjoying her piece of bread. We got food poisoning at one of the bus rides - so here we are, looking at a beautiful scenery while puking our guts out!

Anyway, we have a wonderful time here in Norway.

Until next time,
-Cy

As you can tell, tourists love to hold the crying baby's hand (note the shiny bronze there). This bronze statue has been stolen several times from the park. Vigeland sculpture park - Frogner Park, Oslo.

The fact that this was called a botanical garden was a bit of a joke as I think that it only took us ten minutes to walk the entire grounds.

Kalle and I are enjoying the view of a lake that the trail circles, which is a really fantastic cross-country ski trail in the winter in Trondheim.
