Travel day -- crossing the water

We had a nice breakfast with Uncle John, then had to be on our way to Leeds. We were really sad to leave him, as he's an interesting guy to talk with. But we had airline tickets that we needed to use, so off we went. Fortunately, the rain held off for us all week, but we got it all on the road to Leeds. After missing what is apparently the only mention of the Leeds airport on the motorway signs, Dejo navigated us back into the right area, and we got the car turned in, and on the flight (after a bit of a delay).

When we arrived in Amsterdam, we were met by Ans & Joop, and Ed. They drove us back to Ans & Joop's place, and the whole family gathered there for dinner in the back (burgers and fries). And bier. Lots of Warsteiner bier. This was establishing a theme for the week.... 😊
