Numansdorp to Willemstad

Just a quick trip across the way today to ensure all systems are working properly. Just as well – 5 mins out of the harbour the water alarm goes off. Easily fixed though and Phil was kind of expecting it as he knew there was not enough coolant in the system but was unable to add any more. Quick top up in the middle of the the bay (fortunately not many barges at this stage) and we were back on our way again. Great to have working transmittion!!

Willemstad to Dordrecht

Lovely motor up to Dordrecht today, went through an opening bridge and then another smaller one into the city. Such a stunning little city, decided to stay here an extra night. Walked up the clock tower of the main church – 275 steps (will feel that tomorrow) and explored the town. Have decided we really need bikes to get around as we could see so much more and Holland is really set up for bikes – there are bike tracks everywhere!! Had a wine tasting experience and did some small jobs on the boat.
