After an exciting few days in Berlin our travels took us to the historical city of Amsterdam ( leaving Berlin at about 4am right from a club to the train station) where we decided to treat ourselves to what we thought would be a decent nights sleep at this place called the Sharm hotel. The hotel consisted of the 4 floors, climbing about 15 feet in height, in a 4 foot length span, meaning a deadly fall to anyone who was not careful on these treacherous stairs. We quickly settled in to our cozy 3 single bed room and went to a local restaurant to get a taste of the freshly brewed Heineken and dutch food. After retiring back to the hotel to rest up for the night to come, Kyle and I decided to hammer out our new invention "drinking crazy eight countdown" (very efficient), only to discover we have a pet mouse roaming our room. We laughed and continued to drink knowing what was to come when the girls got back to the room and found out the great news. We were all back in the room and pondering how we should go about catching our friendly rodent when we heard a rustling in the garbage, so i pounced at the opportunity and caught the mouse. Now, a little irritated, we took the mouse to the Hotel manager expecting an upgrade, refund, or some kind of compensation for our troubles, but instead we received the best quote of the trip thus far : " Excuse me sir, we just found this mouse in our room (holding the mouse in the air inside the transparent garbage bag)" which he then returns with " That's strange.. I have a cat" ...... our problems were over, he has a cat... We argued some more and eventually got upgraded to a slightly bigger, slightly cleaner, mouse free room. More settled, and a little ground gained out the new city we decide to search the town for the next new feature, the oh so famous Amsterdam coffee shops, which to my knowledge were very few and hidden. After seeing 4 coffee shops on every block, and every smell going from baked good to baked person, we knew we would have no trouble finding what we were looking for. An average Amsterdam joint ( which was the size of a small baseball bat) and a piece of chocolate space cake later we were gallivanting through the canals of Amsterdam, enjoying were our trip currently placed us. Onto our next night. We agreed to go to a pub crawl and see a bunch of the local bars and clubs, and of coarse what drew us in was the "8:00 -8:30" free vodka shots advertisement. Our pub crawl also took us through the prestigious Red light district, where we were lucky enough to see some guys taking advantage of this midnight trade (hilarious). Surprisingly, we met a lot of people from the london area and Toronto on our crawl. After Amsterdam's busy streets, great sights, and vast cultural diversity, were headed to the wealthy city of London, England,

You stay classy Canada. Tyler outy
