Alright, so after 5 hours on an Ice Train we successfully made it into Berlin! We leave the station in looks for our hostel downtown... and from the looks of it I could've sworn the war hadn't ended. Sketch. After what felt like hours walking up and down Karl-Marx Str. we find our hostel Rix-Pack. Not really knowing what to expect we find ourselves walking through halls that are covered in "Hostel 2" posters, and "creepy box--> this way". What did we get ourselves into. After Kyle declares the top bunk is his, we wander our way through the heart of Berlin. Everything was so beautifully designed.. from the Parliament Buildings to the Jewish Memorial. Grabbed some schnitzel and beers and just spend the day in awe. Mid-club preparation we met our fellow German roommates and they joined in on our shenanigans. For most of us the night was spent at a club called Mud-gate despite a majority of the group ending up back at the hostel at different times. We wake up the morning of the 14th or what we'd like to call the morning (2:30pm) ready for a new day of exploration. The famous art museum, and beautiful parks made for another great day of sight-seeing. We decided to meet back at the hostel around 9:30 all carrying what we thought were great deals on bottles of vodka, but were actually just average german prices. Onto the next club, where we so luckily managed to get free-cover wristbands and free drink vouchers. The club was lots of fun meeting new people and sharing laughs, but with everything hello theres usually a goodbye to follow and our adventure turned to Amsterdam at 4:00 in the morning. We leave the bar, hopefully remembering to pack all our belongings and head to the train... wasted. Here we go-- ready for our 7 hr train out! Seeeeeee YA

love tenille
