Last Day on Ship

Today was a fantastic day of sleeping-in until 9:30am, going to the dining room and ordering a leisurely breakfast ~ omelet for hubby & blueberry pancakes for me ~ and then spending the majority of the day, in our pajamas, on our balcony or in our bed. It was wonderful! The ship was slowly cruising to our final return to port tomorrow so we had all day to do nothing and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I spent the morning buying pictures ~ Hubby and I had "lifestyle/casual" portraits made a few days ago ~ it's a thing they do where you schedule your portrait session, for free, they take pics of you in jeans or whatever, and if you like them, you buy them. It's basically a free professional photo session. We enjoyed the session and we really like the pics so we ordered several packages ~ my biggest expense on this ship. Well, they did a good job and these are our first professional photos together.

Anyway, we stayed in our jammies almost all day today. We ordered some chicken drummettes and pizza for an early lunch, took a nap from about 2pm to 5pm, and then went dinner at 7pm. Dinner tonight was nearly the best dinner we've had ~ New York

strips with asparagus, cheese/spinach dip, Caesar salads, banana and caramel treats for desert plus Key Lime pie ~ it was the best meal yet, in our opinion. Hubby said it was because tonight is the night we had to tip everyone. We also took pictures of our tablemates and exchanged email addresses! We will definitely keep in touch with Elaina and Martin ~ they are the neatest people!! The wait staff sang to us, again, and Kamie got some pictures. We said our farewells to our friends and I came back to the room and packed all of our clothes ~ we leave the ship tomorrow and go back to Rome

. Tonight Hubby told me he has had a wonderful honeymoon. It's not over yet ~ but I would agree ~ this was wonderful, wonderful.
