We had the good fortune of staying with friends in Maranello. Chris and Fiona live in a restored 400 year old residence. Their section was originally the horse stables.
Our time in Maranello was very relaxing and Fiona and Chris were the ‘ hosts from heaven’, even supplying us with our own apartment.
Maranello is known for two main reasons, its production of ceramics ( not fine china, but toilets and tiles ) and being the home of Ferrari. Chris works for Ferrari and has a bit of memorabilia lying around the house.
Their generosity did not extend to the use of THE product, so we had to be satisfied with a visit to the Ferrari museum.
