Canals at Night
KK def wanted to canoodle with EI...needless to say, it didnt happen. As promised, we are updating you on our travels although this is a little late. Our last night in Venice was an eventful one to say the least. After going to the only bar that was sans honeymooners we managed to find a group of New Yorkers who later made fun of us for not smoking cigarettes because "All Californians are concerned with their health"--i dont think its just people from california that are concerned with their health, but it was obvious that they werent. Ironically, as they were talking about our "concern" for our health, we were both three sheets to the wind throwing our health out the window.
With an abrupt exit, we left the bar in search of food, but everything was closing down. We somehow managed to get on the correct water bus then made friends with the bus driver, asking him if McDonalds was still open at the train station. Unfortunately it wasnt, but his friend's "Kebob" place was still open and he said he could tell us how to get there. Little did we know that "telling us how to get there" was a door to door personal drop off, leaving the rest of
Uhhmmm
sober? the passengers on the bus FORCED to stop at the Kebob place with us.
Venice was absolutely gorgeous, we cant wait to go back there...but the next time we visit itll hopefully be with a significant other. Let's be honest, walking along the Venice canals is not so romantic when youre with your best friend drinking a bottle of wine, talking about....well we wont go there.
