Well it took some doing but we have arrived safe and sound in Venice and if first impressions are anything to go by we just might stay a while but only if we can find a map that actually works......apparently ours doesn't.
Managed to find a room - it has padded walls but they have assured us that they all do - we will let you decide....however it is only for one night so we will be on the search again tomorrow - we had to take it....it was on sale and seeing as our list of shopping purchases thus far consists of a 99c alarm clock we felt we had to make amends.
So far today we have been lost more times than we are prepared to admit but it doesn't seem to matter too much - it's a great city with lots on offer (Yes Mel plenty of eye candy for the both of us). Will spend tomorrow having a look around, shopping and trying to find some new digs - we figure we can always spend the night in a boat somewhere.
Chris plans on living out his boyhood dream of taking a Gondala ride while singing 'Like A Virigin' I will lend him one of my crop tops to complete his fantasy.
Well this blog would have been longer but it's going to take us at least 4 hours to find our hotel and we still have to have dinner ....... yep pizza again, so will write more another day.
PS - if you happen to see us on any websites that we shouldn't be on please advise ASAP as we have given our passports to some dodgy looking characters lately and signed a few things that may or may not be disclaimers.

I've seen ya on a dodgy site
Hello Travellers I have seen ya on a dodgy site, it was the "Madonna Look Alike" site, Chris you look fantastic with heavy bling around your neck and a few rags tied around your scone!! Just kidding. I am hoping an "eye candy" pick heads this way, I need to see what these pizza, pasta munchers look like. Chilly on the willy day today, caught up with mum at work for a few minutes, and went and annoyed dad with a cream bun.........of course I had a healthy coconut cake, with icing and a cherry, so a few less calories than the cream donut. He has managed to have a fight with a chisel, and the chisel won........nothing too bad, he only lost two digits.......he he just kidding AGAIN, gotcha though. No a wee scratch to the bone thats all......AND AGAIN, shit I am in the wrong job. No seriously he just cut his hand a bit, not a big bit just a little bit. Talked to Ness today and she sends her love, Kasidy is very ready for school in November by the sounds of it. Well my dears I hope that you put the padded room to the test, and asked the neighbours in the morning if they heard anything..........like even a whisper. Love to ya both, keep smiling.
