Hey guys

I've claimed the keyboard back from the missus for this one so excuse the spelling mistakes (on her ones that is).

We headed out of Rome yesterday on the mighty Eurostar (well worth the extra $$$). We went and sat in the Eurostar lounge with backpacks etc on and were promptly told to move on as it wasn't for the likes of us (Koru lounge set up apparently).

We arrived in Florence around lunchtime and headed off in search of suitable digs. These were located reasonably easy and reasonably priced. Unfortunately at night it's quite noisy (a bit like two elephants riding a motorcycle while a seal bangs a kipper on a table ???) Due to our expertise now on the Italian rail system we decided to head through to Pisa. The town is well set out and finding the dodgy tower was no problem. We did the usual corny photos of pretending to push over or hold up the tower which turned out OK apart from Chris looking the size of King Kong compared to the tower ( yes I just got hit). We had lunch at a local establishment (although they all seem to have photocopied the same menu) It was good timing as the heaven's opened for a good 30 or 40 mins (hence the title for those of you who missed it).

We arrived at the Pisa station to get on the train just in time (told you we had this thing sussed). Quiet night in last night as our bodies tried to digest the huge volumes of pizza consumed over the last few days.

We saw a motorcyclist cleaned out at the train station but we're suprised this is the only one as the way they drive puts the Booth boy's to shame.

Today we have been out looking at more willies. If I was paying to have my statue made I would be paying a bit extra to get things in perspective (if ya know what I mean). The queues here are unbelievable - hrs of waiting and unfortunately we don't have hrs to spare.

Florence been there, done that, got the tshirt. Tomorrow off to Venice. For more Pizza, culture and willy's.

Thanks for the flood of comments. No baby's have been thrown at us yet but will remember your valuable advise and let the little sh*t hit the ground. If it's not plastic though I will be really upset. Maybe a rubber baby would be better as they could bounce it along!! (Just a thought). Speaking of babies some of you may be aware that we were going to name our 'plastic baby' after the city he/she is concieved in. So far Diego, Santorini, Athens, Bari, Pompei and thankfully Roman (Roman Homan poor kid) are all off the list.....we think.

OK guys off to do some more laundry and think about some dinner.

There are still 2-3 pizzas that we haven't tried yet and the days are just running out ( thankfully Italy doesn't seem to have a set of scales anywhere)

Talk again soon from Venice. We've heard the metro is a great way to travel in Venice a friendly Italian man tried to sell us a ticket (it was really cheap) 😊

Aaargh its school holidays
Hiya guys. Yep I have been a little slack in writing to you, but I have the kids at home as well as doing all the home stuff and work and I am sooooo busy. As you can imagine!! Please forgive. Had a go at my Police Rehearsal Run etc, and managed to do ok. Yes I know, I too was rather shocked.......with all the red wine and "marzipan" squares I eat, I too did not think I could shift the behind around too fast.....but hey a girls gotta do wht a girls gotta do. Sounds like you guys are having a ball, I can't believe the amount of pizza your eating though, you must be completely bunged up. Try some good healthy PASTA. The weather here has been pretty ok, managing to get the washing dry anyway so thats the main thing. Kids are fine, Finn got some new "VANS" the other day, some type of shoe which is cool, (APPARENTLY), a size flippin 8 1/2, definately got the HOMAN HOOF that one. Caity is well and busy organising what shoes and dress and handbag and hair bits she is wearing for her Holy Communion, book this in your diary ok, 29 OCtober. Yes the 29 October,so she has plenty of time to get things prepared, so not like her mother in that sense.......I leave all to the last minute. Trying to get a night out with the netball ladies organised but its proving to be harder than expected. These ladies with no sprogs, they just don't know the meaning of getting out the house for a night out........ALL NIGHT, especially in the school holidays. Get my drift. Well take care and if you see any eye candy, take a photo so I can seee tooo. Love Mel, Zac, Finn and Miss Caity xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
