It’s 7 AM and I rollover and Kirsten is starring at me; WOOO; I jump, are you awake, I am now. It’s still raining and Bea is coming out of the bathroom ready to go.
Let’s get going the day is wasting, we’re all cleaned and dressed within 30 mins and heading down for breakfast.
We sit at our assigned table and we have a nice breakfast. We load up our suit cases and were off before 9 AM. Hey I thought we are on vacation, Ok, Ok, I’ll take it easier tomorrow, however today were making up time. I guess Kirsten slept real good, she’s sitting in the car tooting the horn as I’m running across the parking lot.
As were leaving Borimo, lots of cyclists are coming up the road heading toward the pass we came over yesterday. In the rain, woooo
We immediately started climbing up out of the walley. The road I chose, looked on the map to be winding though the wally. However, I was wrong we started climbing up the side of a mountain, and then the road became one lane. At one point Kirsten yells out DEER! Bea pops her
head between the seats and I look up from my map. There are some large four legged something up in front of us but the snow was coming down so hard we couldn’t make out what they were.
COWS! It’s COWS! Kirsten squeals. They were blocking the road there must have been 50 plus cows up on top of the mountain coming down. The framer, his dog and cows. I might add they were leaving an easy to follow trail.
We continued this route for the next 30 plus KM. It was great. As we were coming into the first village, Kirsten spots the chicken man. Now for some of ya’ll that don’t know what the chicken man is, he’s the guy or gal that has a food truck and sells rotisserie chicken. It’s tastes fabulous, Kirsten whips the car around and pushes me out and says get us one.
I walk up to the truck and say UNO POLO
, the man say SI, I say how MUCHA
, he says CINGUE, I say SI
I climbed back into the car with the chicken and Kirsten and Bea each were picking at the chicken for a
taste. I was swatting them like flies. We tried having a picnic, but rain ended it so we finished eating in car
We were driving toward Bozen and as we turned the corner Kirsten saw a sign FEST. Well, everyone knows what that means; Kirsten was on a hunt. She found it located at St Paul a small village outside of Bozen. We were too early so we loaded ourselves back into the car and continued into Bozen.
We arrived in Bozen, been here, done that so we did a quick second take and continued to Trento.
As we arrived in Trento we decided to find us a place to sleep, good idea. Kirsten wanted to stay at an Agurotourisum, so we headed to toward Verona knowing we find one within 10 KM. We did.
Our innkeeper was so nice, she told us about a great restaurant in Trento. So after resting we loaded back up and headed to Trento. We found the restaurant; needless to say it was great. We ate and then walked around Trento and had ice cream.
Once we finished touring Trento we went back to our room and passed out
Did I mention it was raining in Italy?
