Palermo

For some reason....for which I can't remember...we had to arrange our flight from Napoli to Catania and that is, not to Palermo which was our destination. We have stopped in Catania before today and taken the fantastic train trip between Palermo and Catania & thought this would be easy done to get us to our dedtination. The train trip was fabulous (3hours €13 ea) the scenery was beautiful & on up through Enna. Very dry & many crops just finished so the land being tilled...the dark tilled soil fields in total colour contrast to the dry hay fields.
Our trip entailed 1 walk, 1 train, 1 bus, 1 plane, 1 bus,1 train, 1 bus, 1 walk...we knew exactly what we were doing....we really did!

Home on the 4th floor (with lift) in the business centre part of Palermo this time...lovely shops around us & very close to Teatre Politema Garibaldi.

Fabulous sleep...al it takes is 1 walk, 1 train, 1...........
