• Lunch was traditional Italian trattoria with small menu, great food and mamma in the kitchen
  
• Cruise on Lake Como to view the villa's and see if we could find George Clooney's place

Odd Spot(s)

• Given the change in seasons, the weather at Lake Como varies from hour to hour. When we left for our lake cruise it was misty and foggy, but on the return trip it was brilliant sunshine all around.

This church overlooking Lake Como appeared precariously balanced but is no doubt a haven for locals.

There are no rules for picking a good trattoria, you just have to go with one that feels right - this one was a ripper.

Como Supermarket
Number one tip for shopping at Como Supermarket - be prepared to stand your ground in the checkout queue.

Como Tower
The tower at Como's Cathedral is very impressive and is the venue for medieval gatherings on Friday evenings.
