Panini Private Collection
Monza Pit Walk

Highlight(s)

• Cheese tastings at Panini's
  
• Pit walk at Monza and the close proximity we were allowed to get to the pits, cars and teams.
  
• Waiting at Honda for a glimpse of Jenson
  
• Pints of gin and tonic at the local bar following the pit walk
  
• Michel's Gelati count - 21
  
• Joceline's Italian / French / German Coffee count - 53
  

Odd Spot(s)

• At the track, the Safety car driver weaved the car through the crowd to the petrol bowser and then proceeded to fuel the car whilst the passengers continued to talk on the mobile phone.
  
• A group of us were entertained at the conclusion of a night out at the local pizzeria when the lights in our outdoor dining area were turned off as soon as the waitress collected the money from our table.
  
• Thought is was unusual when a drink order of vodka and lemonade was served with the vodka in a shot glass and the lemonade in the can.

Cheese Making Machine
The locals were friendly when we visited Panini Cheese Farm and Car Museum just outside of Modena

Can We Take One Home?
The reggiano cheese at Panini smelt fantastic and the taste test was even better! At 500 euro a wheel we left the souvenir shop empty handed.

Monza Pit Walk
Monza is 1 of only 2 tracks where fans can get extremely close to the open pits on the day prior to practice.

William's Race Day Car
The pit walk also provided opportunity for close inspection of various cars.

Relaxed DC
With a limited number of races remaining, DC was making the most of it and was the only driver to make an appearance during our pit walk.

The Fans
Mick outside the Ferrari pits with fellow fans. The Ferrari pits were the main attraction for many of the race goers.

Benzina
The Safety Car fuels up at petrol pumps just behind the pits, within the general public area.

Ferrari Pit Wall
Mick offered some assistance to the Ferrari crew. "Ctrl + Alt + Del"

Vodka and Lemonade
You get what you ask for... One of our travel companions ordered vodka and lemonade. He was taken literally and given a shot glass of vodka and can of lemonade.
