This week has definitely been one of the most entertaining thus far. Since we last talked, I went on top of Saint Peters Basilica and the view of Rome was amazing. None of the buildings in the city are allowed to be higher than the Vatican, so it really was view unlike any other. The chapel its self was awesome and it was honestly the first time my jaw literally dropped. On Wednesday, I had my first away soccer game and it was an experience. The stadium was really nice and our jerseys are top notch. On Friday, we headed for Pompeii, which was a little anti-climatic. The amphitheatres were pretty cool and it was fun to see how much the sound could carry. Sadly, the train laid over in Naples, so for a short time I had to revisit one of my most hated places in the world. On Saturday, My roommate and I went to meet up with Priscilla, my long lost relative. She was an awesome tour guide and took us to the beach for apertivo. She showed us all the places we should go to stop being so ‘American’ and we ended the day in a town in the out skirts of Rome. They had to roll me out of there, I was so stuffed. I got to practice my Italian and I cannot wait to do it again. Last night, I threw a surprised half birthday party for my roommate ryan. I was really missing the college house party, so we threw one at our place last night. It took two weeks of planning, multiple white lies and great timing to pull it off. It was definitely a success. I have a soccer game tonight so wish me luck.
Ciao For Now,
Sean

Sean, glad you hooked up with Priscilla. I knew you would enjoy her company. When you get a chance, let me know how you enjoyed some of the non americano posti da visualizzare! Tante Aguri Zio Michele
