Dublin, Republic of Ireland
Slept pretty good last night. Right before dropping off to sleep I heard thunder, so I looked outside and it was pouring. Got up at 6:00 and went down to breakfast. We are back to runny eggs again, so I had ham and cheese on toast again. At least that was delicious. I sat with Linda and Charles. We talked about the show he went to (a more expensive one in the city that had an Irish comedian) and mine. Linda is going to try to get tickets for the one I went to last night. Linda mentioned a nice pizza place around the corner where she ran into the two Canadian sisters also eating there. I said I may try the place when we get back from the morning trip to Glendalough. When I took my laundry to the Laundromat around the corner I passed the pizza place. It was a Pizza Hut! I think I will pass. I want to do some shopping and site seeing near the city center so I will try for something then.
The drive to Glendalough took about an hour, we stopped for 15 minutes restroom break
at the hotel there, walked around the 10th-12th century ruins and still used ancient cemetery for 30 minutes, grabbed a morning scone and coffee for another 30 minutes, then drove an hour back to Dublin. Although the weather wasn't too bad, if I knew that was all we were going to do, I would have stayed behind and visited more places in Dublin.

A truly wonderful photo. The Celtic Cross shows such detail remembering this is not a new addition - the birds above give the photo the motion it needed.
