The estate house where we biked Tuesday morning we drove to the Killarny National Park in Southern Ireland where we did a bike ride around one of the lakes. Oh my, it was beautiful. The ride had slight hills and we stopped a lot to have the local wildlife explained to us, to walk thru a cave (and Yes, Shelly did it) and to see the sights. BTW, we are in County Kerry (Keri) and if we went on the longer trip we would go to County Claire.
So after today I now know why there is Irish green. Everything here is green and I mean, green, 100’s of shades of green. Then it did the typical weather, rain some, sun some, rain some while the sun is out. – lots of rainbows. Then there is the “Ireland” you see. Rock walls and sheep. Yes, we have seen it all. This is so beautiful and to be able to share it with Nicky and Tim also has been great. The people on our tour are also a lot of fun and today is Eva’s birthday. We sang Happy birthday to her in Gaelic (patty our driver taught us the words) and later we took her out

the round stone fort for dinner and drinks.
After biking we drove to the water fall and got some more breathtaking pictures. The moss was heavy in the area and it was even more green than normal. We then drove further on for lunch, then stopped at a few areas for hiking (to see the fairy houses) and to see a round stone fort from 1000+ years ago. Again we just loved the country side.
Today and Yesterday we played games where the driver asked us questions for a pint… the 2 questions yesterday were answered right away – to the guides complete amazement (and the rest of the passengers) . Today’s question Nicky got after a lot of wrong answers from everyone else.
