oh man! I thought i would NEVER EVER get here. Yesterday we left on time from West Haven to head to NYC ran into littletraffic and few problems getting to Aer Lingus. Had to kill about 20 million hours at the Airport Bar. Was interesting. Had very crappy bar/airport food. Called Casey to say goodbye and hopped on the plane. The plane ride had me so freaking excited i couldnt sit still or calm down for a long time. Finally i managed to grab a small ammount of sleep on the plane. They fed us dinner at like 1030 pm our time 400 am dublin time. It was actually fairly good food. Then i fell asleep for a shrt bit. When we landed in Shannon i was way too excited and kept staring out the window at nothing the hour before we landed and freaked when i noticed what was supposed to be a 100% chance of rain actually turned out to be a 100% chance for sun!!! It was absolutely lovely out. We have to siti n the plane for what seemed like hours for everyone to deboard and new people to board (we were going to Dublin) So finally we take off. I feltl ike alittle kid the whole time pressing my forhead to the glass staring at the lovely countryside. I think i will like the west better then Dublin, not that i dont like it here. We ladned in Dublin FINALLY i couldnt get off the plane fast enough my back hurt and i was stiff all over. We get though the passport place and get my frist stamp on my passport. Then get our bags and try to find our car rental. We couldnt fidn the place so i walked up to someone from another place and asked him and he was very friendly and helped right away. We get to the rental thingie and the guywas super nice to us and friendly. Then we went to get the bus to the car. The drivier was pretty cool and my brother and i had to sit next to him. It was interesting having a front row seat to driving on the wrong side of the road. We got our car and dad almost hit the cars in front and behind us. IT was very interesting trying to find our way around. My dad kept getting upset and frustrated due to his inability to be flexible sometimes, but i know it was also a stressful situation. Then we FINALLY get into Dublin city after being lsot and not being able to figure out WHERE we were (there are no good maps on Dublin in our possession) We end up driving around St. Stepehens Green OVER AND OVER. Then we pull over and this guy working on the green tries to help us... no luck he got us confused since there really is not way to get yourself out of the circle once you are in it. So we keep laughing as we go around and round trying to get into the car park finally we do. But not before dad has his almost first "accident" he was trying to park on the street jsut so we can at least check in to our hotel. and he pulled a little too close ot the metla poles and jsut as my mom was saying you're getting too close he hits the mirror with it... Luckily the mirror was ok. So we go to the hotel after this long ordeal and they lost our reservations. Luckily they had room and fixed us up. Very nice people. We went to the Apt went and had food at the Bleeding Horse. This pub was pretty awesome. We watched Rugby. Then we came back to the Apt and took a nap. We then got up and went to Aya's which ahs a conveyer belt sushi bar (AWESOME) it was great. all you can eat sushi for 26 euro. I thought about matt and how he would LOVE that. Then we went to the Temple Bar pretty interesting and busy place. I had a very good Cider Bulmers and I had a Harps. Then we basically wen to the internet cafe and came home and went to sleep for an early morning
