(Make sure you scroll all the way down and go to the other page of pics, cause it took me a long time to load them!) Today was SO much fun!! It was seriously the best weather day we have had since I got here. I am so glad I got up at 7:40 am to go!! haha it was the cutest little town ever! we got there about 8:30 and went to a little cafe for some tea. we then went to the visitors center and randomly caught a private tour (since we were there so early in the day) the guy was a great old irish man!! We walked around the town for about an hour and got to see random things around the city that you will see pics of. I'll write a little description with the pic so hopefully it will make sense.
After that we had a grand lunch in a little restaurant. I LOVE that they dont have tax here!!! it is so amazing to see on the menu or in a store €7 and have it actually be €7 rather than €9.50 and there is no tipping here since the minimum wage is
€9.50 an hour. Its quite amazing and I will be really confused when I return to the US system. Anyway after lunch we went to the spanish fort in kinsale. It was about a 30ish minute walk but it was so nice. we were right along the water and while walking got to go through the streets with all the houses. it was really cute and definitely worth the treck up the hills. You will see it was gorgeous!! It was a fort to protect the bay from invaders in the first world war i think? It was so nice though!
oh and apparently an irishman discovered america not columbus? but that might just be another fact from "irish history" haha they like to make up their own version of history over here. Once we walked back to the city center we tried to find ice cream cause my roommate really craved some and she convinced the rest of us but we couldn't find a store that was open cause it was past 6, we then decided to go in the famous pub in the city that housed the old well. It was really sweat it was a mom

apparently this was built for a european woman who wanted a classy balcony to sit on. Her fiance built it for her but when she arrived she didn't like it and so returned home leaving the man broken hearted :( and pop place and it was just adorable, they were speaking irish by the fire and we were welcomed in like a family. about a half hour later our bus arrived and we hopped on to return to cork. So after a full day, now I am so tired and worn out that I'm just going to flop down and collapse.
oh I forgot to say that I feel like 85% better!! im still a tad bit sniffly but no where near what I was and I didnt sneeze today at all so that was amazing and much needed!!! thank you again so much for all of your prayers!!
So ya off to read and veg again 😊 my all time favorite activities!! Hope you guys have a great day! talk to you soon
